Daniel Ranger (lighting designer) is a native of Montreal.
He has been involved in performance art as Lighting Designer and Technical Director for more than 25 years for such artists and groups, amongst others: La Compagnie de danse Entre-Six, Le Théâtre Populaire du Québec, Japan's Grand Kabuki, Les Ballets jazz de Montréal, Pat Metheny, The Peking Acrobats, Les Sortilèges, Catherine Lara, The Kiev Ballet, Ondekosa Japanese Demon Drummers, Angèle Dubeau et la Piétà, Le Gala des Étoiles, Les Films Rozon Inc.
He is currently Production Manager and Lighting Designer with [bjm_danse] and has recently collaborated with rising young choreographers such as Crystal Pite and Edgar Zendejas. Daniel has been the lighting designer for ezDanza since it's conception in 2006.
